| Product Description |
FriktionTek® by XADO Ceramic Manual Transmission, Front and Rear-Differential and Gear Treatment is the best way to optimize the performance of your gear box, differentials and manual transmission without disassembly.
FriktionTek® simultaneously cleans, restores and protects worn parts creating a smoother, more durable surface. It effectively optimizes performance while reducing friction and wear.
While the science is advanced, the application is simple. FriktionTek® by XADO works by applying a long-lasting ceramic-metal (cermet) surface to standard transmissions and differentials while you drive. It penetrates metal surfaces up to 30 microns deep and forms a strong new ceramic-metal bond.
ADVANTAGES
Resurfaces manual transmission gears and shaft, differentials, gear boxes, reducers and other components of your drive train.
TREATMENT RESULTS
Reduces or eliminates grinding;
Decreases noise and vibration;
Restores damaged synchronizers;
Increases accuracy of the gear-shift;
Restores high-friction metal surfaces of transmissions, differentials, gears and transfer case;
Optimizes frictional conformability of gears;
Improves accuracy of operation immediately and the process is complete in 1,250 miles;
Prolongs transmission, differential and gear life (by 2-3x);
Helps reduce fuel consumption (especially in all-wheel drives);
Lasts up to 65,000 miles.
INSTRUCTIONS
Warm your car up to its normal running temperature.
Add treatment into the gear oil opening of your manual transmission, gear box, transfer case or differential (see your car's instruction manual for where to add gear oil).
Drive for at least 15 minutes.
NOTE: Transmission or differential should show a reduction in noise / grinding almost immediately (within 5-10 miles). For very high mileage vehicles or those with severe problems, a second dose may be necessary. FriktionTek is not able to repair whining noise due to air vacuums.
